Materials and Quality of Our Products

Our products are made to order, with materials that vary by category: 100% cotton for several t-shirts, a 350 g/m² cotton-polyester blend for oversized hoodies, 12 oz cotton canvas for some tote bags, enamelled stainless steel for camping mugs. The details below are those of our product pages: composition, weight, dimensions and capacity.

What are our t-shirts, hoodies and denim jacket made of?

Here is what our product pages say about clothing.

For garment-dyed t-shirts, the product pages describe a soft, “lived-in” texture that changes with wear. For the washing instructions for each category, see our Care Guide.

What materials are used in our bags, phone cases and mugs?

Canvas tote bags

Some product pages describe a heavy cotton canvas of 12 oz/yd² (100% heavy cotton canvas), with reinforced self-fabric handles and flat corners, available in natural or black.

Lunch bags and pouches

Our lunch bags are made of canvas, some with an adjustable shoulder strap, and one of them is an insulated model. The Floral Meadow pouch is described as linen. The other pouches have a flat bottom.

Weekender bags

Exterior 100% spun polyester, 27 in cotton rope handles with gold metal grommets, and a cream canvas interior lining (50% cotton, 50% polyester). Stated dimensions: 24 in x 13 in, with a T-bottom.

Phone cases

Hard-shell cases have a polycarbonate shell and a TPU liner, a 3D full-wrap print and open ports. The product pages state that they work with wireless charging (but not MagSafe). The engraved cases are vegan leather with an engraved design. Choose your device model on the product page to confirm compatibility.

Enamel camping mugs

Stainless steel with an enamel finish that the product pages describe as resistant to rust and stains, 12 oz (0.35 L) capacity, rounded corners, lead-free and BPA-free. The pages say not to use them in the microwave. See the Rustic Horse mug for an example.

And for the home and the desk: throws, pillows and desk mats?

• Woven throws: 100% woven cotton, coloured fringe borders, available in three sizes (throw, lap blanket or bed layer, according to the product pages). Several designs come in an Illustration version (crisp graphic shapes) or a Photo version (softer colour transitions).
• Plush velvet throw: described as ultra-soft and easy to care for, with a printed topographic map.
• Pillows and pillow covers: square formats, illustrated.
• Desk mats: neoprene surface, non-slip base, stitched edges, available in three sizes.

What do “unisex cut” and “oversized” mean?

Our clothing is designed in a unisex cut: one cut for everyone, with no “men's” or “women's” version. Several pieces are in an oversized (loose) or relaxed cut, with drop shoulders.

If you prefer a closer fit, size down, as our FAQ suggests. When in doubt, check the Size Guide and our article Choosing the Right Size. Since every piece is made to order, we cannot accept returns for the wrong size: that is why it is best to check before ordering.

Why these materials?

Each material answers the use described on the product pages:

• a thick 350 g/m² fleece for cool days;
• garment-dyed or washed cotton for a lived-in look;
• a heavy canvas and reinforced handles for tote bags;
• enamelled stainless steel for light mugs designed for camping;
• neoprene with a non-slip base to keep the desk mat in place.

How long a product lasts depends on use and care.

What does “made to order” mean?

Each product is made after your order, rather than pulled from stock. In practice:

• the item is produced for you, in the size, colour or variant you chose;
• slight variations in colour or design from one item to another are normal, especially for washed pieces, whose finish is unique to each piece;
• production times are shown on each product page, before shipping time is added.

How can you check a product's quality before buying?

1. Read the whole product page: composition, weight, dimensions, capacity and care instructions are there.
2. Check the measurement chart and the Size Guide before choosing your size.
3. Confirm compatibility with your phone model for a case.
4. Look at the estimated delivery time on the product page, as well as the details on shipping to Canada and the United States.
5. On arrival, compare the item with the product page and read the label for care (see the Care Guide).
6. If in doubt, write to us through the Contact page before ordering.

If the item you receive is defective, damaged or different from the one you ordered, write to us within 30 days of receiving it with your order number, a description and photos: we offer a free replacement or a full refund. Returns for a change of mind, the wrong size or an ordering mistake on your part are not eligible. See the return and refund policy.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the weekender bag?

The product pages for our weekender bags state 24 in x 13 in, with a T-bottom and 27 in cotton rope handles. The exterior is 100% spun polyester.

When is my piece made?

Each piece is made to order, after you place your order. Production times are shown on each product page, before shipping time is added. See also the shipping page.

Are your t-shirts 100% cotton?

The product pages for our printed t-shirts and our oversized snow wash t-shirts state 100% cotton. The oversized hoodies, on the other hand, are a blend of 42% cotton, 53% polyester and 5% other fibres.

Will the colours and designs match the photos?

They will be very close, but slight variations are normal because each item is made to order. This is especially true of washed (snow wash) pieces, whose finish is unique to each piece.

Are my enamel mugs BPA-free?

The product pages for our camping mugs state “lead-free and BPA-free” and say not to use them in the microwave. They are hand wash only.

Is my phone case compatible with wireless charging?

The product pages for our hard-shell cases state compatibility with wireless charging, but not with MagSafe. Choose your device model on the product page to confirm it is offered.

How long will my products last?

Lifespan depends on use, care and the piece itself. We suggest following the instructions in the Care Guide and on the label.
