For most of our t-shirts and hoodies, the product pages call for machine washing in cold water or at a maximum of 30 °C, no bleach, and low-heat drying. Enamel mugs are hand wash only, and bags, desk mats and phone cases are cleaned by hand with a cloth or a soft brush. Instructions vary from one product to the next: the product page and the label on your item always have the final say.
In brief
Every piece is made to order and materials differ from one product to another. Care is therefore based on three sources, in this order:
A few general tips, which are neither official instructions nor guarantees:
Garment-dyed pieces and washed (snow wash) pieces have an intentional lived-in finish. Slight variations from one item to another are normal, as explained in our FAQ.
This table summarizes the instructions on our product pages. When in doubt, the label on the item is the reference.

For the composition of each category, see Materials and Quality.
The product pages for our t-shirts and oversized hoodies are consistent: machine wash (cold water or 30 °C, gentle cycle for the oversized styles), no bleach, low-heat drying, low-heat ironing while avoiding the print, no dry cleaning.
For the other hoodies (logo, bison, bear, wolf and so on) and for the light wash trucker denim jacket, follow the label on the item.
Canvas tote bags: the product pages call for spot cleaning, no bleach, line drying and no iron directly over the print, which could stick to the iron. They are cleaned piece by piece rather than washed whole.
Weekender bags: empty the bag, pretreat visible stains with a stain remover, mix warm water with laundry detergent, clean with a terry washcloth or a soft-bristle brush, then let it air dry.
Lunch bags and pouches: one lunch bag page says it washes easily. Follow the label. Wiping with a damp cloth is a general tip, not a manufacturer's instruction.
Enamel mugs: every product page says hand wash only and do not use in the microwave. As a precaution, we therefore do not recommend the dishwasher.
Hard-shell cases: the product pages recommend a soft damp cloth, cotton or microfibre, with a drop of dish soap if needed. At least one model's page adds that the case should be kept away from high-alcohol liquids and from heat or direct sunlight.
Engraved vegan leather cases: follow the label; a soft cloth, with no abrasive products, is a careful choice (general tip).
Woven throws: 100% cotton. The product pages call for machine washing in cold water (30 °C maximum) on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, and low-heat drying. Avoid bleach, especially on a coloured pattern.
Plush velvet throw, pillows and covers: the throw is described as easy to care for; for it as for the pillows and covers, follow the label.
Desk mats: clean stains with warm water and dish soap, without soaking the whole mat, and use a soft-bristle brush for stubborn stains.
Every product is made to order: no returns, exchanges or refunds are possible for a change of mind, the wrong size or a mistake on your part. Only a defect or damage (a defective or damaged product) or an order error on our part (a product different from the one ordered) qualifies.
Write to us within 30 days of receiving the item, with your order number, a description of the problem and photos, for a free replacement or a full refund. See the return and refund policy or the Contact page.
Yes, it is a general tip to help protect the print. The product pages do not require it, but they do say not to iron directly over the print. Always follow the label on your item.
For t-shirts, oversized hoodies and tote bags, the product pages say not to use it. We also suggest avoiding it for woven throws.
The product pages for our mugs say “hand wash only”, so we do not recommend the dishwasher. They also say not to use the mug in the microwave.
Some t-shirt pages describe a pre-shrunk fabric, but we cannot promise that no item will change. Respect the temperature, low-heat drying and the label, and check the Size Guide before ordering.
For hard-shell cases, the product pages recommend a soft damp cloth with a drop of dish soap if needed. For engraved vegan leather cases, follow the label.
Refer to the label sewn into the jacket. If in doubt, write to us through the Contact page before washing it.
No. They are advice drawn from the product pages and general good habits. The only coverage offered is that of our return policy: a defect or an error on our part, reported within 30 days of receiving the item.
